All scientists funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) are required to complete an online research ethics course and to attend a workshop on research ethics—collectively known as Responsible Conduct of Research. As a biologist, I was required to take many courses like this one, which consisted of text-heavy slides that seemed to have been around since the 1990s. This course is a refreshed adaptation of the online portion of the Responsible Conduct of Research training, found on the NIH website (NIH Research Ethics).
